The team rider entry fee (which includes the driver at no extra charge) entitles the entrant to the safety and security facilities provided by the event.

In addition, each entrant and driver are given an entry T-shirt and goodie-bag (including a fruit-pack per rider).

As the route traverses remote areas of Namibia, where communication levels and access to participants are limited, we strive to to provide the highest possible level of safety for all entrants AND drivers.

There will be roaming medical assistance, radio communication between marshals and standby medical rescue.

The start zone will be ‘dressed’ for the occasion, while the finisher zone will be an un-forgettable venue for the riders.

Lastly, there are a host of plans, intentions and processes in place to ensure that the Desert Dash remains a unique event on the cycling calendar.
