If a team rider cancels it is deemed a team cancellation until a replacement rider is entered. It is up to the rest of the team to find a replacement rider. If no-one replaces the cancelled rider, that team can still participate in that same category, but will not be considered a team finisher, ie: no timing allocated.
Each rider of this team who completes their allocated stage(s), will be deemed an event finisher and will receive the respective finisher recognition, ie: finisher prize.
