Registration and Payment

We have partnered with Namhub.com, an events company, to handle the online entries and payments. Namhub uses Paygate South Africa as online credit card processor. Paygate is 3D Secure compliant and conform to the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode online security platform.

Please take note of the following:
  • Only method of payment is online via Namhub and Paygate.
  • No EFT or cash transfer options are available.
  • Only MASTERCARD and VISA are accepted cards for payment.

There are 2 steps involved in registering as a participant for the FNB Desert Dash race:

Step 1. Register as a user on Namhub
If you have previously registered as a user on Namhub there's no need to re-register, just enter your details and log in. To be sure, go to the site and login to confirm that you are still a valid user.
  • Go to www.namhub.com (or follow the Namhub link from the Desert Dash site)
  • Click 'Register' (bottom left button of the Namhub homepage)
  • Fill in all the required details and click 'Submit'. (be sure to enter a valid email address)
  • Check your email for a message from Namhub.com, click on the link in the email to confirm your Namhub registration. (Also check your junk or spam folders for this email)
TIP: We suggest you register as a user on Namhub as soon as possible as the account verification process might take some time. Don't wait until race entries open! Do step 1 above today and you'll be ready for step 2 when entries open.
Step 2. FNB Desert Dash Race Entry
To enter for the race you have to be a registered user on Namhub. (see step 1 above)

  • Go to www.namhub.com
  • Log in on the Namhub homepage (just under the top left buttons), by entering your email and password and click 'Login'.
  • The login space should now read: Logged in as (your name).
  • Now look for the 'FNB Desert Dash' entry in the events calendar and click on it.
  • You will now be taken to the FNB Desert Dash info page.
  • From here click on 'Enter for this event' (top, right beige text of the middle block on the page – just under the FNB Desert Dash slogan)
  • Select your team category and click 'Continue'.
  • Carefully enter all fields your team name on the registration form and click 'Submit'.
  • A page displaying all the details you've just entered will be shown.
    Verify that all information is correct and click 'Confirm'.
  • Now you'll be taken to the payment page where you enter your credit card details and click 'Pay now'.
  • A confirmation page will show whether your payment was successful or not.
  • You will receive 2 email confirmations: 1 from Namhub showing team number and category and 1 from Paygate with a payment reference number.
  • You can now view/edit your entry by clicking on 'Manage my entries'.
