Stage 6 to Checkpoint #6

Stage 6 ends in Swakopmund but not before a few sandy patches and detours through town that really tests your sense of humour.

This last stage will tap your energy as it consists of some sandy patches and quite a few climbs with steep crests as the route zig-zags towards Swakopmund. Keep some energy in the tank for this one!

All the riders in the 2- and 4-person teams ride this stage together so at least you'll have the rest of your team with you to keep the spirits high. Once you've reached town you'll follow the route on tar roads to Checkpoint #6 where you'll receive a 'route completed' marker. From there you proceed another 2km to the Pupkewitz Nissan Finish Zone where your official time will be recorded.
You are tired by now, but please stay alert for traffic and get to the end safely!

After the stage rider has signed in at CP#5, all the riders of a team depart on Stage 6 and stay together until the Finish Zone.

Team Support Vehicle leaves for the Pupkewitz Nissan Finish Zone in Swakopmund.
